Xotic AI pitches itself as the AI girlfriend app for people who want to hear and see their companion, not just text them. It competes with the Candy AI app we reviewed og GirlfriendGPT’s character library, and this 2026 update replaces our older review with checked plan details.

Every Xotic AI character is fictional. If you would rather talk to a real person on camera, Camround lets you start a free one-on-one video chat with a random adult stranger (18+ only).

Xotic AI at a glance

What is Xotic AI?

Xotic AI is an AI companion platform built around fictional AI girlfriends that can chat, talk on voice calls and appear in generated images and short videos. The company says its characters are AI-generated and fictional, and it markets memory, distinct personalities and fast replies as its main selling points.

How does Xotic AI work?

Xotic AI follows a pick, chat and create flow.

1. Open Xotic AI in your browser and confirm you are 18 or older.
2. Choose a pre-built character or design one in the xGen builder with sliders, toggles and a written prompt.
3. Pick a chat mode: Conversational, Roleplay or Storytelling.
4. Upgrade to unlock voice calls, NSFW content and video generation.
5. Spend XOT tokens on images, short videos and calls; the cost is shown before you confirm.

Xotic AI features

Xotic AI’s media features go further than most AI girlfriend apps.

How much does Xotic AI cost?

Xotic AI costs about $7.49 a month for Basic, about $15 for Pro and about $30 for Ultimate, according to a 2026 review on ai-girlfriend-review.com; annual billing lowers the monthly price and auto-renewal is on by default.

XOT tokens are spent on images, video and voice calls on top of the subscription, so heavy media users will pay more than the plan price.

Xotic AI pros and cons

Xotic AI has some of the best media features in this category, but you pay for them twice: through the plan and through tokens.

Is Xotic AI safe?

Xotic AI is reasonably safe for adults who treat it as entertainment and keep their identity out of it. The company says conversations are encrypted and not shared or sold, but that is its own claim, and the age check is only a checkbox.

• Do not share your full name, address, phone number, private photos or passwords with an AI character.
• Use a strong, unique password and avoid social logins if you can.
• Check whether you can delete chats and your account before you invest time.
• Turn off auto-renewal if you only want one month.
• Use it as entertainment alongside, not instead of, real friends and support.

18+ only: Xotic AI is an adult product, and Camround is strictly for users aged 18 and over.

Xotic AI vs alternatives

If you want an AI version of a real adult creator instead of an invented character, our JustSext review covers the licensed AI twin approach.

Who is Xotic AI best for?

Xotic AI is best for adults who want to hear and see an AI companion and are willing to pay for Pro or Ultimate. If you want a real face on the other side of the camera instead, see our guide to cam chat with real people.

What are the best Xotic AI alternatives?

Candy AI is more polished overall, GirlfriendGPT has the biggest character library, and JustSext offers AI twins of real adult creators.

The bottom line

Xotic AI stands out for voice calls and short 4K video, but locked models, extra tokens and partial memory hold it back, so we rate it 3/5. Test the free tier, then try one month of Pro before paying for Ultimate.

The post Xotic AI appeared first on CamRound.com.

JustSext takes a different route from most AI companion apps: instead of inventing a character, it licenses AI versions of real adult creators. That puts it next to Candy AI’s custom companions og Xotic AI with its voice and video tools, and this review replaces our older generic write-up with checked launch details.

JustSext twins are still AI. If you want a bo conversation with a real person instead, Camround lets you start a free one-on-one video chat on Camround with a random adult stranger (18+ only).

JustSext at a glance

What is JustSext?

JustSext is an adults-only AI platform where each chat partner is a digital twin of a real adult creator. According to launch coverage, each twin is trained on the creator’s voice, personality, tone and content, so fans can talk to an AI version of someone they already follow at any hour, while the creator earns from it without producing new content.

How does JustSext work?

JustSext works like a pay-as-you-go chat line with AI versions of creators.

1. Open justsext.com and create an account as an adult.
2. Browse the available creator twins and pick one.
3. Buy a token pack; tokens are spent as you chat, request voice notes or generate images.
4. Chat by text or voice; the twin remembers your preferences and past conversations.
5. Top up tokens when you run low; there is no monthly commitment.

JustSext features

JustSext focuses on making a creator’s AI twin feel consistent and personal.

How much does JustSext cost?

JustSext is paid with tokens instead of a monthly plan; AI Mojo’s listing shows packs of 10 tokens for $1.00, 50 for $4.95, 100 for $9.90 and 500 for $49.50.

A limited free option is listed, but details are not published. There is no unlimited plan, so heavy users can burn through tokens quickly; check current prices before you buy.

JustSext pros and cons

JustSext’s licensed-creator idea is genuinely different, but the platform is young and the costs are open-ended.

Is JustSext safe?

JustSext is reasonably safe for adults who keep their real identity out of it. The company says it uses compliance-first infrastructure with guardrails against misuse and consent controls for creators, but it does not publicly explain how it checks users’ ages.

• Use a separate email and a strong, unique password.
• Never share your real name, address, workplace or photos of yourself with an AI twin.
• Set a token budget before you start; there is no spending cap by default.
• Remember the twin is AI trained on a persona, not the creator talking to you live.
• Be wary of any off-site links or requests to pay outside the platform.

18+ only: JustSext is an adult site, and Camround is strictly for users aged 18 and over.

JustSext vs alternatives

If you would rather browse thousands of invented characters than a few licensed creators, the GirlfriendGPT character library is the closest alternative.

Who is JustSext best for?

JustSext is best for adult fans of specific creators who want an always-available AI version of them and prefer paying per use. If you want a real, live adult conversation instead, our guide to free adult chat covers human options.

GirlfriendGPT is one of the longest-running AI girlfriend platforms, and it competes directly with the apps in our Candy AI review og the JustSext creator AI twins. This 2026 update replaces our older vague review with checked plan details and an honest rating.

GirlfriendGPT characters are software, not people. If you want to talk to a real person instead, Camround lets you start a free one-on-one video chat on Camround with a random adult stranger (18+ only).

GirlfriendGPT at a glance

What is GirlfriendGPT?

GirlfriendGPT is an AI companion site where you chat with AI characters built to act as partners, friends or roleplay characters. You can create your own characters or browse a public library of characters made by other users, which is what sets it apart from most rivals. It offers both safe-for-work and adult modes.

How does GirlfriendGPT work?

GirlfriendGPT works like a character marketplace with a chat window attached.

1. Create a free account at gptgirlfriend.online and confirm you are 18 or older.
2. Browse public characters by style or tag, or build your own with a name, look, personality and backstory.
3. Start chatting by text; the character replies in its own voice and style.
4. Use coins to generate images of the character, and upgrade for voice, video and NSFW roleplay.
5. Install it to your phone’s home screen if you want it to behave like an app.

GirlfriendGPT features

GirlfriendGPT’s feature set is built around variety rather than one perfect companion.

How much does GirlfriendGPT cost?

GirlfriendGPT costs about $15 a month for Premium, $35 for Deluxe and $50 for Elite, according to DatingScout’s 2026 review; yearly billing is cheaper and all plans auto-renew.

Extra coin packs (about $10 for 300 up to $50 for 2,000) are only available to paying members. Prices change often, so check the checkout page before you subscribe.

GirlfriendGPT pros and cons

GirlfriendGPT wins on choice but loses on price and polish.

Is GirlfriendGPT safe?

GirlfriendGPT is reasonably safe for adults who treat it as entertainment and share nothing identifying. Your chats are stored on the company’s servers, so assume anything you type could be kept.

• Keep your real name, address, workplace and photos of yourself out of your chats.
• Use a separate email and a strong, unique password.
• Turn off auto-renewal if you only want to test one month.
• Set a coin budget before generating images or video.
• Remember the character is designed to keep you engaged; it is not a real relationship.

18+ only: GirlfriendGPT is an adult product, and Camround is strictly for users aged 18 and over.

GirlfriendGPT vs alternatives

If you care more about real-time voice calls and short video than about character variety, how Xotic AI handles voice and video is worth a look.

Who is GirlfriendGPT best for?

The bottom line

Candy AI is one of the most advertised AI girlfriend apps, and it sits in the same cluster as our GirlfriendGPT review og the Xotic AI breakdown. This review replaces our older write-up with checked 2026 details on pricing, tokens and privacy.

Everything here is about AI characters, not real people. If you would rather talk to an actual person, Camround lets you start a free one-on-one video chat with a random adult stranger in your browser (18+ only).

Candy AI at a glance

What is Candy AI?

Candy AI is an AI companion app where you chat with fictional characters that are designed to act like a girlfriend or boyfriend. You can pick a pre-made character or build your own, then chat, roleplay and generate pictures, voice notes and short videos of that character. It is an adult product with an optional NSFW mode.

How does Candy AI work?

Candy AI follows a simple create-and-chat flow.

1. Open candy.ai and confirm you are 18 or older.
2. Browse the ready-made characters or open the character builder to set looks, personality and relationship style.
3. Start chatting by text; replies come back in character within seconds.
4. Spend tokens to request images, voice messages or short videos of your character.
5. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited text chat, longer memory and a monthly token allowance.

Candy AI features

Candy AI’s strength is putting chat, character design and media generation in one place.

How much does Candy AI cost?

Candy AI costs about $12.99 per month for Premium, or less if you pay for three or twelve months upfront, according to independent pricing reviews. Media generation runs on tokens that are sold separately.

Prices change often and first-time discounts are common, so check the checkout page before you pay and turn off auto-renewal if you only want one month.

Candy AI pros and cons

Candy AI is one of the easiest AI companions to start with, but the token system makes the real cost hard to predict.

Is Candy AI safe?

Candy AI is reasonably safe for adults who treat it as entertainment and keep personal details out of their chats. It is run by a registered company and uses discreet billing, but everything you type is processed and stored on its systems.

• Never share your full name, address, workplace, photos of yourself or financial details with an AI companion.
• Use a separate email and a strong, unique password.
• Check your subscription settings and switch off auto-renewal if you only want to try it.
• Set a monthly token budget, because media generation is where costs climb.
• Remember the character is software designed to keep you engaged, not a real relationship.

18+ only: Candy AI is an adult product, and Camround is strictly for users aged 18 and over.

Candy AI vs alternatives

Candy AI is the most polished of the AI girlfriend apps we cover, while JustSext’s licensed creator AI twins suit people who want an AI version of a real adult creator rather than an invented character.

Who is Candy AI best for?

Candy AI is best for adults who want a good-looking, easy AI companion and are happy to budget for tokens. If what you really want is a live conversation with a real person, try video chatting with strangers instead, which is free and human on both sides.

How much does Candy AI cost?

Is Candy AI free?

Candy AI has a limited free tier with restricted messages, a small token allowance and no voice or video, so most features need Premium and tokens.

Is Candy AI safe?

Candy AI is run by a registered UK company and offers discreet billing, but chats are processed on its servers and the age gate is only a self-declaration, so avoid sharing identifying details.

Is there a Candy AI app?

Candy AI works in any browser and can be added to your home screen; independent reviews report a Google Play listing but no native iPhone app.

What are the best Candy AI alternatives?

GirlfriendGPT suits people who want community-made characters, Xotic AI focuses on voice calls and video, and JustSext offers licensed AI twins of real adult creators.

The bottom line

Candy AI is a polished, easy AI girlfriend app with an impressive character builder and media tools, but tokens make the true cost climb and memory and age checks are weak, so we rate it 3.5/5. Try the free tier, then buy a single month before committing to a yearly plan.

Joingy is one of the longer-running Omegle-style chat sites, and it kept going after Omegle’s shutdown sent users looking for replacements. Its appeal is simplicity: choose text or video, press start and you are talking to a stranger.

This review checks what Joingy actually offers today. Older descriptions aimed at younger users no longer fit: Joingy now requires everyone to confirm they are 18 or older.

Joingy at a glance

What is Joingy?

Joingy is a browser-based tilfeldig chat that pairs you with one stranger at a time. You pick Text Only, which needs no camera or microphone, or Video Chat, which requires a working webcam. Everyone appears anonymously as “Stranger”, and the site says its Trust and Safety team and detection systems enforce its Community Guidelines and Terms of Use. The operator is listed only as Joingy.com, with contact through its website and the @JoingyOnline account on X.

How does Joingy work?

Joingy keeps the classic Omegle flow.

1. Open joingy.com on a desktop or mobile browser.
2. Choose Text Only or Video Chat.
3. Tick the box to confirm you are 18 or older and accept the rules.
4. Allow camera and microphone access if you chose video.
5. Chat, use Leave Chat to move on, and press Flag Spam after a chat to report someone.

Joingy features

Joingy’s feature list is short and focused.

Is Joingy free?

Yes, Joingy is free. The site calls its cam chat totally free and lists no premium tier, coins or subscription.

Joingy pros and cons

Joingy does the basics well but offers little control over who you meet.

Is Joingy safe?

Joingy is reasonably safe for adults who follow basic rules, but its moderation is reactive. Independent reviews note that bots, spam and inappropriate content can slip through, especially on video.

• Start in Text Only mode if you want to ease in.
• Never share your name, socials, phone number or location.
• Keep anything identifying out of your camera frame.
• Leave and Flag Spam anyone who is explicit, abusive or pushing links.
• Assume the other person can screenshot or record.

18+ only: random chat with strangers is for adults, and Camround is strictly for users aged 18 and over.

Joingy vs alternatives

If you like Joingy’s simplicity, our Uhmegle review covers a similar text-and-video site with interests, while how Thundr matches by interest suits people who want more targeted chats. For a lightweight video-first option, see our Camgo review.

Who is Joingy best for?

Joingy suits adults who want a no-frills, free stranger chat and are happy with fully random matches. If you would like guys matched with girls and vice versa, you can start a free one-on-one video chat on Camround instead.

Ofte stilte spørsmål

What is Joingy?

Joingy is a free website that randomly pairs you with strangers for anonymous text-only chat or 1-on-1 video chat.

Is Joingy free?

Yes. Joingy describes itself as totally free and advertises no paid tier or subscription.

Do you need an account for Joingy?

No. Joingy’s FAQ says no registration or sign-up is required.

Does Joingy have a gender filter?

No. Joingy does not offer gender or country filters; matching is random.

Is there a Joingy app?

No. Joingy runs in desktop and mobile browsers that support WebRTC, and it does not list an iOS or Android app.

Is Joingy safe?

Joingy requires users to confirm they are 18+ and lets you flag spammers, but moderation is mostly reactive, so keep personal details private.

The bottom line

Joingy is a free, no-sign-up Omegle-style chat with a useful text-only mode, a clear 18+ rule and a Flag Spam button, but it has no filters, no app and mostly reactive moderation, so we rate it 3/5. It is a solid quick option rather than a polished one.

OmegleMe is one of the better-known sites built to fill the gap left when Omegle shut down in November 2023. It keeps the anonym, no-account format and adds settings Omegle never had, but it also carries adult links that many users will not expect.

Older write-ups praised OmegleMe’s “24/7 human reviewers” and called it far safer than every rival. We could not verify those claims, so this review sticks to what the site itself says and what independent safety guides report.

OmegleMe at a glance

What is OmegleMe?

OmegleMe is an independent tilfeldig chat site that copies Omegle’s look and flow. You can chat by text, audio or video with one stranger at a time, add interests to find people who share them, and set preferred countries. The site says it is run by a separate company with no link to Omegle, Omegle.com or Ome.tv, and it is also unrelated to the similarly named Omegle.me.

How does OmegleMe work?

OmegleMe follows the classic Omegle pattern with a few extra settings.

1. Open omegleapp.me in a desktop or mobile browser.
2. Add interests and tick “common interests only” if you want topic matches.
3. Choose preferred countries and a maximum wait time.
4. Pick text, audio or video and allow camera and microphone access.
5. Chat, skip to the next person, and report anyone who breaks the rules.

OmegleMe features

OmegleMe’s settings go beyond Omegle’s original interests box.

Is OmegleMe free?

Yes, OmegleMe is free. The site describes itself as completely free and lists no subscription or coins, although it does show affiliate links to other, paid adult services.

OmegleMe pros and cons

OmegleMe gets the Omegle formula right, but its adult links and lack of age checks hold it back.

Is OmegleMe safe?

OmegleMe needs caution. Australia’s eSafety Commissioner notes that it sets an 18+ minimum without checking ages, links to an NSFW version, and may show post-chat links such as “Adult Fun” and “AI GF” that lead to adult or spam-like sites.

• Keep the nudity detector switched on if you use video.
• Ignore post-chat pop-ups and affiliate links.
• Never share your name, socials, phone number or location.
• Assume chats can be saved or recorded by the other person.
• Report bad users in-chat, and leave immediately if a chat turns uncomfortable.

18+ only: random chat with strangers is for adults, and Camround is strictly for users aged 18 and over.

OmegleMe vs alternatives

If you like the Omegle layout but want fewer adult links, our Uhmegle review covers a close alternative, and our Xmegle review looks at another Omegle-style clone. For the full field, see the best Omegle replacements compared.

Who is OmegleMe best for?

OmegleMe suits adults who want a free Omegle copy with interest and country settings and know how to ignore adult links. If you would rather skip the pop-ups, you can start a free one-on-one video chat on Camround, where guys are matched with girls and vice versa.

Ofte stilte spørsmål

What is OmegleMe?

OmegleMe is a free Omegle-style chat at omegleapp.me that randomly pairs you with strangers for text, audio or video conversations.

Is OmegleMe the same as Omegle?

No. Omegle closed in November 2023, and OmegleMe says it is not affiliated with Omegle, Omegle.com or Ome.tv.

Is OmegleMe free?

Yes. OmegleMe describes itself as completely free and does not advertise a paid tier.

Do you need an account for OmegleMe?

No. OmegleMe’s FAQ says no sign-up is required to start chatting.

Is OmegleMe the same as Omegle.me?

No. Omegle.me is a different site whose video chat runs through CooMeet and sells paid minutes, while OmegleMe runs at omegleapp.me.

Is OmegleMe safe?

Use caution. OmegleMe sets an 18+ rule but does not verify ages, and it links to an NSFW mode and adult sites, so never share personal details.

The bottom line

OmegleMe recreates Omegle well, with free text, audio and video chat, useful interest and country settings and automated moderation, but it does not verify ages and pushes users toward an NSFW mode and adult sites, so we rate it 2.5/5. Use it with care, or choose an alternative with a cleaner, adults-only setup.

People search for Chatgirl expecting one website, but the name is shared by several unrelated chat pages. Older descriptions of a free, registration-free ChatGirl chatterom cannot be matched to a single real service today, so this guide explains what you will actually find.

If you simply want to video chat with women, our guide to video chat with girls explains how gender matching works, and the verified options below are safer starting points.

Chatgirl at a glance

What is Chatgirl?

Chatgirl is a generic brand name rather than a company. Searching for it turns up pages hosted by other random-chat brands, small directory sites and AI “chat girlfriend” apps, each with different features and rules. One ChatGirl page we checked advertised both a “completely free” service and a $9.99-a-month Premium plan, and stated no minimum age, which shows why the name alone tells you very little.

How to check a ChatGirl site before you chat

A quick five-step check tells you whether a ChatGirl page is worth your time.

1. Look for a named company and a contact address in the site footer or terms.
2. Check that the site states an 18+ rule and has a report or block button.
3. Read the pricing page to see what is free and what costs credits or Premium.
4. Confirm whether a gender filter is free or paid before you rely on it.
5. Test it without sharing personal details, and leave if anything feels off.

What to look for in a girl chat site

Chatgirl pros and cons

The ChatGirl name promises easy chat with women, but the lack of a single accountable service is a real drawback.

Staying safe on Chatgirl-style sites

The safest approach is to treat any unbranded ChatGirl page as untrusted until it proves otherwise.

• Never pay on a site that does not name its company.
• Keep your name, socials, phone number and location private.
• Assume video can be recorded and screenshotted.
• Be suspicious of anyone who quickly asks for money, gifts or to move to another app.
• Use report and block tools, then leave if a chat turns uncomfortable.

18+ only: chat with strangers is for adults, and Camround is strictly for users aged 18 and over.

Chatgirl vs verified alternatives

If you want girl-focused video chat from a known company, our CooMeet review covers a paid service built around matching men with women, and how LuckyCrush pairs men and women explains a credit-based alternative from a named Paris company. For a smaller girls-only option, our Mirami review is worth a look.

Who is Chatgirl best for?

Chatgirl pages suit only adults who are comfortable testing unknown sites and sharing nothing personal. If you want free, instant video chat where guys are matched with girls and vice versa, you can start a free one-on-one video chat on Camround instead.

Ofte stilte spørsmål

What is Chatgirl?

Chatgirl is a name used by several unrelated chat pages and apps that promise text or video chat with women, not a single official service.

Is there an official Chatgirl website?

We could not find one official ChatGirl platform with a named operator; the pages using the name are run by different sites.

Is Chatgirl free?

It depends on the page. Some ChatGirl pages say they are entirely free, while others describe a free tier plus a paid Premium plan.

Does Chatgirl have a gender filter?

Some ChatGirl pages mention gender or location filters, but they often add that filters may need a paid membership.

Is Chatgirl safe?

Treat it with caution: most ChatGirl pages name no company and state no clear age rule, so share nothing personal and leave if something feels wrong.

What is a good alternative to Chatgirl?

Use an established girl chat service with a named operator and clear prices, such as CooMeet or LuckyCrush, or a free 18+ random video chat like Camround.

The bottom line

Chatgirl is a shared name, not a single trustworthy service, so prices, sign-up rules and safety depend entirely on which page you open. Check for a named company, a clear 18+ rule and published prices first, or go straight to an established girl chat service or a free adults-only random video chat.

Mili is one of many small video chat apps that promise easy face-to-face chats with new people. Older write-ups describe it as an anonym, no-profile tilfeldig chat, but the current Android app works more like the profile-based apps in our Fachat review.

This review sticks to what the Google Play listing and recent user reviews actually show, and points you to better-documented options where they exist.

Mili at a glance

What is Mili?

Mili is a social app for meeting people through live video chat, private video calls and text messages. The developer says it connects users based on internal ratings and similar interests, shows video full screen, moderates profile pictures by hand and can be used for language practice. It is not anonymous: you create a profile with Facebook or email first.

How does Mili work?

Mili follows the familiar swipe-and-call pattern of social video apps.

1. Install Mili – Live Video Chat from Google Play on an Android phone.
2. Sign up with Facebook or an email address and confirm you are 18 or older.
3. Add a profile picture, which is checked by moderators.
4. Browse or swipe through suggested people and start a live video chat.
5. Use private video calls or text chat with people you connect with, and buy in-app items if you want extras.

Mili features

Mili’s features are typical of profile-based video chat apps.

Is Mili free?

Mili is free to install, but it is not completely free to use in full. The Google Play listing flags in-app purchases without showing prices, and one user review mentions gifts, which suggests a virtual-gift or coin system.

Mili pros and cons

Mili offers a simple video chat experience, but signs of neglect are hard to ignore.

Is Mili safe?

Mili has some safety basics, but you should still be careful. Its Data safety section says it may share location and device IDs with third parties and may collect personal info, although data is encrypted in transit and you can request deletion.

• Sign up with an email address you do not use for anything important.
• Turn off location access for the app if you do not need it.
• Never share your phone number, address or social media in chats.
• Be wary of anyone who asks for gifts, money or to move to another app.
• Report and block users who make you uncomfortable.

18+ only: video chat with strangers is for adults, and Camround is strictly for users aged 18 and over.

Ofte stilte spørsmål

What is Mili Live Video Chat?

Mili – Live Video Chat is an Android app from Innersource Ltd for live video chat, private video calls and text chat with people you have not met.

Is Mili free?

Mili is free to download, but it sells in-app purchases, and its Google Play listing does not show their prices.

Do you need an account for Mili?

Yes. Mili asks you to sign up with Facebook or an email address before you can chat.

Is Mili on iPhone?

We only found Mili – Live Video Chat on Google Play for Android, with no matching App Store listing.

Is Mili an anonymous random chat?

No. Mili is profile-based and matches people using internal ratings and shared interests rather than anonymous instant pairing.

Is Mili safe?

Mili says users must be 18+ and moderates profile pictures by hand, but its listing says it may share location and device IDs with third parties, so share as little as possible.

The bottom line

Mili – Live Video Chat offers live video, private calls and text chat with an 18+ registration rule and moderated photos, but it is Android-only, requires an account, hides its in-app prices and has not been updated since September 2024, so we rate it 2.5/5. Better-maintained apps and browser-based chats are easy to find.

Stripchat is one of the biggest names in adult live kameraer, and it works very differently from a random chat site. You watch professional performers rather than being matched with another viewer, so it sits alongside our Chaturbate review rather than Omegle-style apps.

This review covers what is free, what costs money, how private the site is and which alternatives fit better if you want something different.

Stripchat at a glance

What is Stripchat?

Stripchat is an adults-only streaming platform where performers broadcast live from their own rooms. Viewers watch public shows for free, chat in each room, and use tokens to tip, request things or start a private show. Wikipedia, citing Similarweb, puts its traffic at more than 700 million visits a month, which makes it one of the largest cam sites.

Stripchat is also a regulated platform in the EU. In December 2023 the European Commission designated it a Very Large Online Platform under the Digital Services Act, and in October 2026 the EU General Court upheld that original designation; Stripchat said it was considering an appeal.

How does Stripchat work?

Stripchat follows the standard tip-based cam model.

1. Open stripchat.com and confirm you are 18 or older.
2. Browse live rooms by category, country, language or tags.
3. Watch public shows free and read the room chat.
4. Create a free account and buy tokens if you want to tip or interact.
5. Use tokens for tips, private or exclusive shows, and other paid extras.

Stripchat features

Stripchat’s feature set is built around paid interaction with performers.

How much does Stripchat cost?

Stripchat is free to browse, but interaction costs money. DatingScout lists token packs from 45 tokens for $4.99 up to 2,350 tokens for $199.99, with larger packs costing less per token. The Ultimate membership is listed at $19.99 a month or $199.99 a year, and you still need tokens for private shows and tips.

Stripchat pros and cons

Stripchat is polished and huge, but its business model is built on spending.

Is Stripchat safe?

Stripchat is a legitimate, long-running site, so the main risks are overspending and privacy rather than scams. A few habits keep it that way.

• Set a monthly budget and buy small token packs.
• Use a strong, unique password and check your card statements.
• Keep your camera off unless you choose to use cam-to-cam features.
• Never share your real name, socials or location in room chats.
• Use a private browser profile on shared computers.

18+ only: Stripchat is an adults-only site, and Camround is strictly for users aged 18 and over.

Stripchat vs alternatives

If you like cam shows, our Camera Prive review covers a smaller European option and Lemoncams, a cam search engine helps you compare rooms across sites. If you would rather talk face to face with ordinary adults, our guide to adult chat rooms covers free, non-commercial options.

Who is Stripchat best for?

Stripchat suits adults who want professional live cam entertainment and accept paying for interaction. If you want a two-way conversation with another adult instead of a paid show, you can start a free one-on-one video chat on Camround.

Ofte stilte spørsmål

What is Stripchat?

Stripchat is an adults-only live cam site, launched in 2016, where performers stream public shows and viewers can tip or pay for private shows with tokens.

Is Stripchat free?

Partly. Watching public shows is free, but tips, private shows and most extras need tokens, which start at $4.99 for 45 according to DatingScout.

What is Stripchat Ultimate?

Ultimate is an optional membership, listed at $19.99 a month or $199.99 a year by DatingScout, that adds perks but does not replace tokens.

Do you need an account for Stripchat?

You can watch public shows without paying, but you need a free account to buy tokens, tip or message performers.

Who owns Stripchat?

Stripchat is operated by Technius Ltd, a company based in Limassol, Cyprus.

Is Stripchat safe?

Stripchat is an established site, but use a strong unique password, keep spending limits, and never share personal details with performers or other viewers.

The bottom line

Stripchat is a well-run, regulated cam site with a generous free area, strong filters and VR shows, but tokens, private shows and Ultimate make it easy to overspend, so we rate it 4/5. Set a budget before you start, or choose a free 1-on-1 video chat if you just want to talk.

If you are looking for Rabbit videochat, the short answer is that it no longer exists. Rabb.it closed in 2019, and many pages that still describe it as a live “random video chat” are out of date or simply wrong.

This guide explains what Rabbit actually did, why it shut down, and where to go now, whether you want to watch together with friends or meet new people on camera through a gratis tilfeldig videochat.

Rabbit at a glance

What was Rabbit?

Rabbit was a streaming website and app that let several people browse and watch the same content at the same time. A host shared a cloud-hosted browser called a “Rabbitcast”, and everyone in the room could see it while talking over video and text chat. Rabbit did not host films or shows itself; people streamed whatever the shared browser opened.

How did Rabbit work?

Rabbit worked like a virtual living room with one shared screen.

1. A host opened a Rabbit room in a browser or the mobile app.
2. The host invited friends or let others join the room.
3. Rabbit started a shared, cloud-hosted browser that the whole room could see.
4. Everyone watched together while chatting by webcam, microphone or text.
5. Control of the shared browser could be passed around the room.

Rabbit timeline

Why did Rabbit shut down?

Rabbit shut down because it ran out of funding. After its May 2019 funding round failed, the company laid off staff and switched the service off at the end of July 2019. Kast took over its intellectual property, software stack and several patents, but Rabbit itself was not relaunched.

Rabbit features (when it was live)

Rabbit pros and cons

Rabbit was well loved, but its business model did not last.

Staying safe on Rabbit-style and random chat sites

The safest move is to avoid any site or download that claims to be the “new Rabbit” unless the company behind it is clearly named. When you meet strangers on video, protect yourself the same way you would on any chat site.

• Ignore unofficial “Rabbit” apps and APK downloads; the original service is gone.
• Never share your full name, address, phone number or social media with strangers.
• Assume anything on camera can be screenshotted or recorded.
• Skip, leave and report anyone who makes you uncomfortable.

18+ only: tilfeldig videochat with strangers is for adults, and Camround is strictly for users aged 18 and over.

What to use instead of Rabbit

The best Rabbit replacement depends on what you used it for. To hang out with friends on camera, our FaceFlow review covers a free group video chat that is still running, and how Paltalk’s video rooms work is worth reading if you like bigger group rooms. If you want to meet someone new rather than watch with friends, our guide to the best random chat alternatives compares the main options.

Who was Rabbit best for?

Rabbit was best for friends and online communities who wanted to watch videos together while seeing each other’s faces. If what you miss is the face-to-face chat itself, you can start a free one-on-one video chat on Camround and be matched with another adult in seconds.

Ofte stilte spørsmål

What was Rabbit video chat?

Rabbit (Rabb.it) was a website and app that let a group watch the same streamed browser together while chatting by video and text.

Is Rabbit still working?

No. Rabbit shut down its servers on 31 July 2019, and no official Rabbit service has operated since.

Why did Rabbit shut down?

Rabbit ceased operations after a venture capital funding round failed in May 2019, which led to layoffs and the closure of the service.

Who bought Rabbit?

The streaming service Kast acquired Rabbit’s remaining assets, including its software stack and patents, on 31 July 2019.

Was Rabbit a random chat site?

No. Rabbit was built for watching content with friends or groups, not for being matched with random strangers like Omegle.

What can I use instead of Rabbit?

For watching with friends, use a dedicated watch-party tool; for meeting new people on camera, use a random 1-on-1 video chat for adults such as Camround.

The bottom line

Rabbit was a pioneering watch-together video chat, but it closed on 31 July 2019 and its assets went to Kast, so any page offering “Rabbit random video chat” today is not the real service. Use a dedicated watch-party tool for shared viewing, or a free 1-on-1 video chat for adults if you want to meet new people.
