TL;DR — Roulette.Chat Review 2026
Roulette.Chat is a free willekeurige videochat that connects you with strangers on webcam straight from your browser. It needs no account, offers gender and country filters and has an Android app, which makes it one of the easier Chatroulette-style sites to try. The catch is that it says almost nothing about moderation or age checks. Rating: 3/5.
- Best for: Adults who want quick, free roulette-style video chats with a few basic filters.
- Cost: Free; no paid tier is advertised.
- Standout feature: Free gender filter and country selection with no sign-up.
- Skip it if: You want clear moderation rules or a verified adults-only space.

What is Roulette.Chat?
Roulette.Chat is a browser-based roulette chat that pairs you with one random person at a time over live video. It sits in the same family as Chatruletka, the Russian-language original, and keeps the formula simple: no profiles to browse, no swiping, just a stream of random conversations. Older reviews described interest-based matching and AI moderation, but the current site does not advertise either, so we have left those claims out.
How does Roulette.Chat work?
Roulette.Chat works like every classic roulette chat: allow your camera, get matched, and skip when you like.
- Open Roulette.Chat in a desktop or mobile browser, or install the Android app.
- Allow camera and microphone access when your browser asks.
- Set the gender filter or pick a country if you want to narrow your matches.
- Press Start to be connected with a random stranger.
- Chat by video, and press Next to move on to someone new at any time.
Roulette.Chat features
Roulette.Chat keeps its feature list short and free.
| Functie | What it does | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Random video matching | Connects you with a stranger on webcam | Instant conversations with no browsing |
| Next button | Ends the chat and finds a new overeenkomen met | You stay in control of every conversation |
| Geslachtsfilter | Lets you choose who you want to meet | Many rivals charge for this |
| Country selection | Shows only people from a chosen country | Good for language practice or local chats |
| No account | Start without registering | Less personal data handed over |
| Android app | Chat from a phone app | Handy if you prefer apps to the browser |
Is Roulette.Chat free?
Yes, Roulette.Chat describes itself as completely free, and we found no premium plan on the site. That makes its gender filter unusually generous, because several rivals, DirtyRoulette among them according to independent reviews, keep reliable gender matching behind a paid plan. If an app version ever asks for payment, read the in-app purchase terms before you buy.
Roulette.Chat pros and cons
Roulette.Chat is easy and free, but it is thin on safety information.
| Pros | Minpunten |
|---|---|
| Free, with no paid tier advertised | No published moderation policy |
| No account or profile needed | No stated minimum age or age check on the homepage |
| Gender filter and country selection | Matching quality depends on who is online |
| Works in mobile browsers plus an Android app | Site needs JavaScript and can load slowly |
| Many interface languages | Little information about who runs it |
Is Roulette.Chat safe?
Roulette.Chat is reasonably safe only if you take your own precautions, because the site does not explain how it moderates chats or checks ages.
- Keep your face framed and your background free of anything that identifies you.
- Never share your name, social media, phone number or location.
- Press Next immediately if someone is rude, explicit or pushy.
- Ignore anyone who asks you to move to another app or send money.
- Assume the other person could be recording the call.
