GirlfriendGPT is an adults-only AI companion platform at gptgirlfriend.online where you sohbet with custom AI characters or thousands of characters made by other users. It has run since 2023 and works in the browser as an installable web app. Free accounts get limited messages and a few coins; NSFW chat, voice, video and advanced memory sit behind Premium, Deluxe or Elite plans. Rating: 3/5.
- Best for: Adults who want lots of character variety and roleplay styles.
- Cost: Limited free tier; paid plans about $15, $35 or $50 a month per independent reviews, plus coin packs.
- Standout feature: A big public library of community-made characters.
- Skip it if: You want one low monthly price with voice and video included.
GirlfriendGPT is one of the longest-running AI girlfriend platforms, and it competes directly with the apps in our Candy AI review ve the JustSext creator AI twins. This 2026 update replaces our older vague review with checked plan details and an honest rating.
GirlfriendGPT characters are software, not people. If you want to talk to a real person instead, Camround lets you start a free one-on-one video chat on Camround with a random adult stranger (18+ only).

What is GirlfriendGPT?
GirlfriendGPT is an AI companion site where you chat with AI characters built to act as partners, friends or roleplay characters. You can create your own characters or browse a public library of characters made by other users, which is what sets it apart from most rivals. It offers both safe-for-work and adult modes.
How does GirlfriendGPT work?
GirlfriendGPT works like a character marketplace with a chat window attached.
- Create a free account at gptgirlfriend.online and confirm you are 18 or older.
- Browse public characters by style or tag, or build your own with a name, look, personality and backstory.
- Start sohbet by text; the character replies in its own voice and style.
- Use coins to generate images of the character, and upgrade for voice, video and NSFW roleplay.
- Install it to your phone’s home screen if you want it to behave like an app.
GirlfriendGPT features
GirlfriendGPT’s feature set is built around variety rather than one perfect companion.
| Özellik | What it does | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Public character library | Thousands of user-made characters | Endless variety without building your own |
| Custom characters | Set looks, personality and backstory | Two free, more on paid plans |
| Image generation | Pictures of characters, paid with coins | Adds visuals, but costs extra |
| Voice | Voice messages and calls on higher tiers | More immersive than text |
| Video generation | Short clips on paid plans | Newest, coin-hungry feature |
| SFW and NSFW modes | Adult roleplay on paid plans | Lets you set the tone |
How much does GirlfriendGPT cost?
GirlfriendGPT costs about $15 a month for Premium, $35 for Deluxe and $50 for Elite, according to DatingScout’s 2026 review; yearly billing is cheaper and all plans auto-renew.

Is GirlfriendGPT safe?
GirlfriendGPT is reasonably safe for adults who treat it as entertainment and share nothing identifying. Your chats are stored on the company’s servers, so assume anything you type could be kept.
- Keep your real name, address, workplace and photos of yourself out of your chats.
- Use a separate email and a strong, unique password.
- Turn off auto-renewal if you only want to test one month.
- Set a coin budget before generating images or video.
- Remember the character is designed to keep you engaged; it is not a real relationship.
18+ only: GirlfriendGPT is an adult product, and Camround is strictly for users aged 18 and over.
