Chatliv

Chatliv is an all-in-one stranger chat site: you can jump into a random cam-to-cam chat, switch to voice or sit in a group text room, all as a guest. It has been around since at least 2014, according to its footer. Its cam side overlaps with stranger cam chat sites, while its rooms are closer to how Chat Avenue works.

What is Chatliv?

Chatliv is a free website for chatting with strangers by webcam, voice or text without creating an account. Its homepage promotes a live stranger cam meet, group text rooms and rooms for specific countries, and it also publishes ραντεβού and relationship articles. It includes a premium CooMeet cam room, which is a separate paid service; our CooMeet review explains what that costs and how it works.

How does Chatliv work?

Chatliv works by letting you pick a guest name and choose between random cam chat, voice or text rooms.

1. Open chatliv.com in your browser.
2. Choose a chat mode: random video, voice, one-on-one text or a group room.
3. Enter a guest name; no account or download is needed.
4. Allow camera and microphone access if you chose video or voice.
5. Skip to a new stranger or move to another room whenever you like.

Chatliv features

Chatliv’s features cover several chat styles but stay basic in each.

Χαρακτηριστικό	What it does	Why it matters
Random cam-to-cam	Pairs you with a stranger by webcam	Face-to-face chat with no account
Φωνητική συνομιλία	Audio conversation (requires video)	Ομιλία without typing
Group text rooms	Public rooms with many users	Casual group conversation
Country rooms	Rooms for specific countries	Meet people from a particular place
Guest access	Enter a nickname and start	Quick and anonymous
CooMeet room	Links to a paid cam service	Gender-matched chat if you are willing to pay

Είναι το Chatliv δωρεάν;

Chatliv’s core video, voice and group chat are free, according to the site. The CooMeet room is paid, and the homepage is inconsistent about text chat: one section calls it premium-only while another promotes free group text rooms.

Chatliv pros and cons

Chatliv is flexible and free to start, but transparency and safety are weak.

Πλεονεκτήματα	Μειονεκτήματα
Free guest access, no account	Operator not named
Video, voice and text in one place	Not an adults-only site
Country-specific rooms	Inconsistent wording about premium text chat
No download needed	Promotes a paid third-party room
Long-running (2014 onwards per footer)	Older user reviews report scammers and explicit content

Είναι ασφαλές το Chatliv;

Chatliv is only moderately safe: anyone can join as a guest, it does not present itself as adults-only and identities are never checked, so you need to protect yourself.

• Use a nickname that cannot be linked to your real identity.
• Keep your face and room free of anything that reveals where you live.
• Never share phone numbers, social accounts or payment details.
• Leave any chat where someone pressures you or behaves inappropriately.
• Be careful with links in rooms; they can lead to scams or paid sites.

18+ only: Camround is strictly for adults aged 18 and over, and if you want an adults-only space, choose a site that states this clearly.

Chatliv vs alternatives

Chatliv competes with cam-and-room chat sites and with pure random βιντεοσυνομιλίες. Chatrad’s 18+ cam chat is a better-moderated option for random video, and our Chatville review covers a free multi-cam alternative.

Platform	Format	Free?	Sign-up	Standout
Chatliv	Video, voice and text rooms	Mostly	Guest name	All chat modes in one site
Κάμραουντ	Random 1-on-1 video (18+)	Ναί	No profile needed	Instant matching, skip anytime, report to moderators
Chatrad	Random video (18+)	Ναί	Κανένας	Human plus automated moderation (3/5)
Chatville	Random video	Ναί	Κανένας	Up to four cams (3/5)
Chat Avenue	Text chat rooms	Yes, plus VIP	Guest	Large room network (2/5)
CooMeet	Συνομιλία μέσω βίντεο with women	Paid	Account	Gender-matched premium chat (3.5/5)

Who is Chatliv best for?

Chatliv is best for adults who like hopping between cam chat and text rooms as a guest and do not mind a basic, lightly moderated site. If you mainly want webcam conversations, our cam to cam chat guide covers better-focused options, or you can start a free one-on-one video chat on Camround, which is instant and strictly 18+.
