TL;DR — Uhmegle Review 2026
Uhmegle is a free zufällig Chat that recreates the Omegle experience, with text and Video modes. You add interests, pick text or video and are matched with a stranger, with no account and no personal details required. The site says it uses automated systems and human moderators to enforce its rules, but it does not state a minimum age on its homepage and now also points users to a sister site, Umingle. Bewertung: 3,5/5.
- Ideal für: Adults who miss Omegle and want free text or Video-Chats with interest matching.
- Kosten: Frei.
- Herausragendes Merkmal: Omegle-style interest tags in both text and video.
- Überspringen Sie diesen Schritt, wenn: You want gender filters or a clearly adults-only site.
Uhmegle (uhmegle.com) is one of the best-known sites to appear after Omegle wurde im November 2023 geschlossen.. It copies Omegle’s formula closely: add interests, choose text or video, and talk to a random stranger.
The previous version of this page described group calls, polls, end-to-end encryption and a no-log policy. The site claims none of that, so this review covers what Uhmegle actually offers. If you are comparing Omegle-style sites, see Unser Leitfaden zu den besten Omegle- Alternativen.

What is Uhmegle?
Uhmegle is an Omegle-style chat that pairs you with a random stranger for a text or video conversation. You can add interests, such as a favourite game or show, and the matching system tries to pair you with someone who shares them. Tencent RTC, which writes about chat apps, credits the site to a developer named Maks. The homepage now also suggests Umingle, a related site, for meeting people worldwide.
How does Uhmegle work?
Uhmegle works exactly like Omegle did: add interests, pick a mode and start.
- Open uhmegle.com in a desktop or mobile browser.
- Add a few interests if you want better-matched chats.
- Choose Text-Chat or video chat and accept the chat rules.
- Allow camera and microphone access for video.
- Chat, skip to the next stranger and report anyone who breaks the rules.

Fazit
Uhmegle is the most faithful Omegle replacement we have tried: free, instant, with text and video modes and interest tags, backed by moderation. No gender filters, no stated minimum age and an unnamed operator keep it from the top, so we rate it 3.5/5. For free gender matching in a strictly 18+ space, try Camround.
