What is Y99?
Y99 is a free web-based chat community where people from around the world talk in public rooms and private messages. You don’t need a full account to start, which keeps the barrier to entry very low.
Over time it has added social extras such as games, a collaborative whiteboard and a Watch Together feature, making it feel more like a hangout than a bare chat room. It is closest in spirit to Tinychat’s room-based community, though without its video focus.
