TL;DR — Chathub Review 2026
Chathub is a free random video chat site that pairs you with strangers in your browser, with no account needed. It is still running in 2026 and stands out for offering gender, language and country filters on a free, no-sign-up service. It is browser-only and says little about how it moderates chats, so use the usual caution. Rating: 3.5/5.
- Best for: Adults who want quick, free random video chat with a few matching filters.
- Cost: Free; no paid tier advertised.
- Standout feature: Gender, language and country filters without creating an account.
- Skip it if: You want a native app or clearly explained moderation.
Chathub is a lightweight random video chat that has quietly become one of the most popular Omegle-style sites. We checked it in October 2026: it is online, free and still requires no account. If you are comparing roulettes, how OmeTV compares is the obvious first benchmark, and our guide to free random video chat covers the wider field.

What is Chathub?
Chathub is a free website that connects you by webcam with random strangers, one at a time, straight from your browser. It follows the classic roulette format popularised by Chatroulette and its many successors, but adds simple filters so you can steer who you meet by gender, language or country.
How does Chathub work?
Chathub works by turning on your camera and instantly pairing you with another user, filtered by your chosen preferences.
- Open chathub.cam in a modern browser on desktop or mobile.
- Confirm you are 18 or older and accept the chat rules.
- Choose filters such as gender, language or country if you want them.
- Allow camera and microphone access and start chatting.
- Press Next to skip to a new stranger whenever you like.
Chathub features
Chathub’s key features are its no-sign-up access and free filters.
| Feature | What it does | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| No sign-up | Start chatting without an account or email | Fast and private |
| Gender filter | Choose to meet girls or guys | Fewer skips to find who you want |
| Language filter | Match with people who speak your language | Easier conversations |
| Country filter | Meet people from a chosen country | Useful for language practice or local chat |
| Peer-to-peer calls | Video, audio and text are not stored, the site says | Better privacy |
| Text chat box | Type alongside the video | Handy when audio is poor |
Is Chathub free?
Yes, Chathub describes itself as completely free and does not advertise any paid tier. We did not find filters locked behind a payment when we checked, but features can change, so look for any prompts before you pay for anything.
Chathub pros and cons
Chathub is quick and genuinely free, but light on safety detail.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Free, with no account needed | No native mobile app |
| Gender, language and country filters | Little detail on how rules are enforced |
| Clean, simple interface | No interest tags |
| Peer-to-peer calls that are not stored | No information on who runs it |
| Clear 18+ rule | Random chat means some unwanted content is possible |
Is Chathub safe?
Chathub is reasonably safe for adults who stay anonymous, since it needs no personal details and says calls are not stored, but its rules are only as good as their enforcement.
Its chat rules ban rudeness, bigotry, drug use on camera and posting links, but the site does not explain how breaches are detected or handled.

- Never share your name, phone number, address or social handles.
- Skip anyone who is explicit, abusive or asks for money.
- Do not click links or move to another app with a stranger.
- Assume the other person could record the call.
18+ only: Chathub is for adults aged 18 and over, and so is Camround.
