TL;DR — Allotalk Review 2026
Allotalk is a free tilfeldig chat-side that pairs you one-on-one with strangers by video or text, with no login required. It is still running in 2026, offers gender and country filters, and can be installed on your phone or computer as a web app. It does not publish a minimum age or explain how it moderates chats, so adults should use it with care. Rating: 3/5.
- Best for: Adults who want free, no-login tilfeldig video or text chat with basic filters.
- Cost: Free; no paid tier advertised.
- Standout feature: Installs as a web app on Android, iPhone, Mac and Windows without an app store.
- Skip it if: You want a clearly adults-only site with transparent moderation.
Allotalk has changed a lot since early write-ups described it as a chat room app with stickers and public rooms. In October 2026 it is a straightforward random video and tekstchat that needs no account. If you are comparing similar sites, how Chathub compares is a good benchmark, and our guide to free random video chat lists more options.

What is Allotalk?
Allotalk is a free website that matches you at random with one stranger at a time for a video or text conversation. It follows the Omegle-style format that sites like Uhmegle also use: open the page, choose your filters and start talking, with no profile to build. Older descriptions of public rooms, photo sharing and music in chat no longer match the current site.
How does Allotalk work?
Allotalk works by pairing you with a random stranger as soon as you start, using any filters you have chosen.
- Open allotalk.com in a modern browser, or install it as a web app from Chrome, Edge, Brave or Safari.
- Choose video or text chat.
- Set gender or country filters if you want them.
- Allow camera and microphone access for video and start chatting.
- Skip to the next person at any time, and use the report button for rule-breakers.
Allotalk features
Allotalk keeps its features simple and free.
| Trekk | What it does | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| No login | Chat without creating an account | Fast and private |
| Video and text modes | Choose camera chat or typing | You decide how much to show |
| Kjønnsfilter | Narrow matches by gender | Fewer skips |
| Country filter | Meet people from a chosen country | Handy for language or local chat |
| Installable web app | Add it to your phone or desktop like an app | App-like access without a store download |
| Report button | Flag users who break the rules | Basic protection against abuse |
Is Allotalk free?
Yes, Allotalk describes its features as free, and we found no paid tier advertised. We could not confirm whether the gender filter has any limits, so watch for upgrade prompts before paying for anything.
Allotalk pros and cons
Allotalk is simple and free, but light on transparency.
| Fordeler | Ulemper |
|---|---|
| Free with no login | No minimum age stated on the site |
| Video and text chat | Moderation not explained |
| Gender and country filters | No interest tags |
| Installable web app on most devices | No native app-store app |
| Report button | No information on who runs it |
Is Allotalk safe?
Allotalk is only as safe as the habits you bring to it, because it offers a report button but does not explain its moderation or publish an age limit.
- Start with text chat if you want to judge a stranger before showing your face.
- Never share your name, phone number, address or social handles.
- Skip and report anyone who is explicit, abusive or asks for money.
- Do not click links or move to another app with someone you just met.
- Assume the other person could record the chat.
18+ note: Allotalk does not state a minimum age on its homepage. Camround is strictly for adults aged 18 and over, and that is the standard we recommend.
