TL;DR — Chatruletka Review 2026
Chatruletka is a free tilfeldig videochat site that connects you with strangers by webcam, with an option to pick their country. It works in the browser and on mobile, translates text chat automatically and says it has no subscriptions or hidden fees. Its rules are adults-only and ban nudity, though the company behind it is not named. Rating: 3/5.
- Best for: Adults who want quick, free cam chats with people from specific countries.
- Cost: Free, according to the site (no subscriptions advertised).
- Standout feature: Country selection plus built-in text translation.
- Skip it if: You want gender filters or a clearly identified operator.
Chatruletka is a random webcam chat that drops you into a face-to-face conversation with a stranger and lets you skip to the next person whenever you like. The name is simply the Russian word for chat roulette, which is why it gets mixed up with the original Chatroulette site from 2009. If you like the roulette format, it sits in the same family as Roulette.Chat and the country-focused matching of our OmeTV review.

Chatruletka pros and cons
Chatruletka is simple and free, but it is light on filters and transparency.

|---|---|
| Free with no subscription advertised | Operator not named on the site |
| Country selection with 50+ countries | No gender filter mentioned |
| Automatic translation in text chat | User numbers are unverified marketing claims |

Er Chatruletka trygt?
Chatruletka is reasonably safe for adults who stay cautious: its rules ban nudity, harassment and spam, and moderators review reports daily, but you are still talking to unverified strangers.
- Keep your face and background free of anything that identifies where you live or work.
- Never share your full name, phone number or social media handles with a stranger.
- Skip anyone who pushes you toward explicit content or another app.
- Report rule-breakers; the site attaches a screenshot automatically.
- Be wary of anyone asking for money, gifts or payment to fix an account problem.
18+ only: Chatruletka’s rules say users must be legal adults, and Camround is strictly for adults aged 18 and over.
