OmeTV is a free aleatoriu video chat service that pairs you one-on-one with strangers on the web, iOS and Android. It is still running in 2026, offers country selection and no time limits, and works well for quick conversations. The trade-offs are a usual social sign-in, paid extras in the app and moderation that cannot catch everything. Rating: 3.5/5.
- Best for: Adults who want fast, free random video chats with people from other countries.
- Cost: Free on the web; optional in-app purchases such as a VIP Pass.
- Standout feature: Pick a country to match with, plus a couple mode.
- Skip it if: You want to chat without linking a social account or need strong moderation.
OmeTV is one of the best-known chat video aleatoriu services still running in 2026, and it remains free to use in the browser. It grew into a go-to option after Omegle shut down in 2023, and it works much like the original Chatroulette: you turn on your camera, get matched with a stranger and press Next when you want someone new. This review covers how it works, what it costs, how safe it is and which alternatives are worth a look.

Ce este OmeTV?
OmeTV is a free chat roulette-style service that connects you with random strangers over live video, one person at a time. The site lists Bad Kitty’s Dad, LDA, a company based in Portugal, as its operator, and its copyright notice runs from 2015 to 2026. Besides the website, there are OmeTV apps for iPhone and Android, though Apple and Google pulled the app from their Australian stores in October 2025 after a warning from Australia’s eSafety Commissioner. If you have used Chathub’s random video matching sau the French favourite Bazoocam, OmeTV will feel familiar right away.
How OmeTV works
Getting started on OmeTV takes less than a minute.
- Open ome.tv in your browser or install the OmeTV app.
- Sign in when prompted; the service typically uses a Facebook, Google or VK account, and the app asks you to create a profile.
- Choose a country to match with and set your gender, or switch on couple mode if a friend is with you.
- Allow camera and microphone access and press Start.
- Chat with the person you are matched with, use chat text alongside video, and press Next to move on whenever you like.
OmeTV features
OmeTV keeps its feature set simple and focused on fast matching.

| Couple mode | Tells matches that two people are on camera | Sets expectations when you chat with a friend |

OmeTV pricing
OmeTV’s core random chat video is free, and the website describes chats as unlimited. The mobile app adds optional paid extras: Apple’s App Store listing shows a Monthly VIP Pass at $8.99 and a “Return to chat” purchase at $10.99, with prices varying by region. You do not need to pay anything to use basic random matching.
OmeTV pros and cons
OmeTV’s biggest strength is speed, and its biggest weakness is inconsistent moderation.
| Avantaje | Contra |
|---|---|
| Free random video chat with no time limits | Social sign-in is usually required |
| Works in the browser and on iOS and Android | App pushes paid extras like the VIP Pass |
| Country selection and couple mode | Moderation cannot catch everything |
| Fast matching and a simple interface | Age checks rely on a simple confirmation |
| Text chat alongside video | App removed from Australian app stores in 2025 |
Is OmeTV safe?
OmeTV is reasonably safe for adults who stay cautious, but it is not risk-free. The service has rules, a Report button and a moderation team, yet independent reviewers such as Internet Matters and Bitdefender note that age checks rely on a simple confirmation and that explicit content can still slip through. Australia’s eSafety Commissioner also warned the operator in 2025 that its safety tools were not strong enough, which led Apple and Google to remove the app from their Australian stores.
